As part of the Gairdner's mandate to communicate the value of medical research to a wider audience, the Foundation hosts an annual Public Lecture featuring a Gairdner winner speaking to a lay audience on a topic of broad public concern.

Thank you very much for your interest in the 8th Annual Gairdner Public Lecture to be delivered by 2008 Gairdner and Nobel Laureate Dr. Harald zur Hausen.  Unfortunately, all the places in the theatre have now been reserved.
