Emma Stewart

As Communications Advisor at the Gairdner Foundation, Emma develops strategies to highlight the Canada Gairdner Awards—Canada’s leading biomedical research prize—and promote the Foundation’s programs, events, and initiatives. She focuses on building visibility, engaging audiences, and supporting fundraising through targeted communications and marketing.

Before joining Gairdner, Emma gained experience at ADC Consulting in the Netherlands and the United Nations Environment Programme. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Information & Technoculture from Western University.
