Tahira Hassan is a seasoned, senior business executive with extensive international experience in the food industry leading transformative change across varied cultural and economic settings.

She brings diverse corporate governance expertise serving as a Non-executive Director notably at Canada Pension Plan Investments (2015 to present), Scarborough Health Network (June 2025 to present), Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (2014-2023), Brambles Limited (2011-2021), Recall Holdings Limited (2013-2016).

Professional Management Accountant by training (CPA, CMA, FCMA-UK), Tahira held executive roles such as Global Business Head of Nescafé Ready-to-Drink, Head of Global Supply Chain at Nestlé SA and President of Ice Cream, EVP Consumer Demand Chain & Information Services at Nestlé Canada Inc. She served on Dean’s advisory council for the School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University and ‘Executive in Residence’at Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Resident of Scarborough, Ontario for over 30 years, Tahira also brings lived-in experiences from the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Pakistan.
