2023 Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Conference

Gairdner is proud to sponsor the AI in Medicine Student Society (AIMSS) fourth annual AI in Healthcare Conference set to take place on March 10-12, 2023. The Conference will be hybrid with an in-person component taking place at the Matrix Hotel in Downtown Edmonton, which will be live-streamed for our online attendees.

This year, we are featuring a speaker series consisting of world-renowned researchers such as Dr. Roxana Daneshjou, Dr. Hollis Lai, Dr. Peter Campbell, Dr. Jihyun Yun, Dr. Phedias Diamandis, Dr. Yan Yuan, and Dr. Eytan Wine. We are also inviting you to our panel discussions facilitated by Dr. Michael van Manen, Dr. Gillian Lemermeyer, and more. You will also be able to meet and chat with representatives from research and industry organizations at the booth/career fair and network throughout the event and at our Friday mixer on March 10, 2023. We will also hold an AI in medicine primer, two workshops on foundations of machine learning, a snapshot of our dually-accredited AI & ML in Medicine Course, and student presentation sessions.

Call for abstracts

If you are a trainee who has done/is doing research on subjects related to AI in Healthcare and are eager to present your work and would like a free ticket to the AIMSSxGairdner 2023 AI in Healthcare Conference if your abstract is accepted, you are in luck! We are accepting abstract submissions for student presentations at the 2023 Conference. The submission form can be found here and will remain open until February 11, 2023.
