2025 Quebec Partnered Programming Call – SYMPOSIA

Neuron

Through our partnership with FRQ-S, Gairdner is dedicated to showcasing and fostering excellence in health-related research in the province of Quebec. We are issuing an open call to partner with organizations, research institutions and universities in the fields of human biology and medicine for programs in Quebec, with up to $40,000 in potential funding support.

Potential programs should be stand-alone scientific symposia on a current and growing area of human biology and medicine. These programs should focus on extraordinary international researchers, while highlighting the excellence of Quebec investigators.  We encourage the inclusion of public and student engagement at these events as well.

Events should be unique, free or low cost to attendees, inclusive and represent the Gairdner dedication to excellence in research. Please review Gairdner's commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (EDIA). We strongly encourage online engagement and will also provide in-kind communications assistance. French, English and bilingual programs are all eligible for this call. Post-program reporting is required.

This program is not intended to support

·        annual meetings,

·        administrative costs or

·        as a research grant of any kind.

Applications open through November 1, 2024.
