Artificial intelligence has entered the scene. It has transformed how many things are done and is set to continue changing the status quo in many fields. Already, researchers, leveraging the capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI), have changed the game in health and science, accelerating discovery and launching breakthroughs.

Hear from AI researcher and entrepreneur Dr. Demis Hassabis as he delves into where we are with harnessing AI in health and science, where it’s going and and how we move forward in a responsible way. Dr. Hassabis will give a 20-min keynote and then will be joined by Shingai Manjengwa, Head of AI Education at ChainML, for a 30-min fireside chat and Q&A following his keynote.

This event, in partnership with the Gairdner Foundation and the Public Policy Forum, is part of the Gairdner Global Perspectives Panel series presented by Telus Health
